The Interact Club of greater OP-RF-FP has an ongoing service project to keep the Fullerton Woods Forest Preserve in River Grove a welcoming habitat for all of its visitors. From casually discarded cans and food wrappers to intentionally dumped tires, every bit of trash left in the Forest Preserves hurts our natural areas and the plants and animals that depend on them. It also leaves them less welcoming for humans that seek to enjoy these outdoor sanctuaries. Members of our Interact Club, their families, and Rotarians from our club meet one weekend morning each month from March through November to participate in the Litter Obliterators group cleanup program sponsored by the Forest Preserve of Cook County. Interact is a club for young people ages 12-18 who want to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self. Students can earn service hours while helping out our community and making the world a better place. Please contact us if you would like to learn more about the Interact Club of OP-RF-FP. The monthly cleanup program is open to all! Check our website for the date of our next cleanup.
